Sarah Grabeel

Sarah Grabeel graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work in 2012. She has practiced social work in the mental health field and with the Department of Children’s Services since 2012. In 2021, she completed her certificate for School Social Work at the University of Tennessee and began her career in school social work with Knox County Schools.

Mrs. Sarah has worked in multiple KCS schools as a school social worker since 2012. As a school social worker, she is passionate about students attending school, meeting the social, emotional, and material needs of students, and coordinating resources for them. Mrs. Sarah brings her many years of service in mental health and DCS to KCS schools and students. She is also responsible for donations and community support for the Knox County Schools Clothing Closet.

Mrs. Sarah was raised in Knoxville but graduated from Seymour High School in 2016. She has a passion for seeing students succeed in all aspects of life. In her free time, you will catch Mrs. Sarah being a mom to her three children, cultivating plants, reading books, and drinking coffee.
