| What's Happening at KMS... Four Year Plan Meetings All 8th grade students need to complete a Focused Plan of Study before entering high school. Students at Karns Middle School will complete their high school 4-year plan in small group meetings with the KMS School Counselor. Parents then have the opportunity to meet with the counselor to review their child’s Plan. The dates for the parent meetings are below. Parents attend the meeting that best suits their schedule. If parents are unable to make a meeting, the 4-Year Plan will be sent home for their review and signature. Parents of Special Education students review the 4-year plan during the IEP meeting. We would like to introduce you to our new Karns Middle School newsletter, “The Beaver Bulletin.” I hope that this will be a quick and easy way to keep you informed of the events that are happening at school. The parent-school partnership is such an important part of your child’s school success, so I encourage you to continue to be involved in your child’s school. The entire staff at Karns Middle School will continue to set high standards for all students to achieve.
